The Handleman Company, one of the largest distributors of music and video game hardware and software to retailers in the U.S., Canada and the U.K., announced on Thursday that President and COO John Beeder has resigned. The company said a disagreement with Beeder — who had held the position for just over a month — over its decision to enter the greeting card business led to a mutual agreement for him to step down.
