China's Shanda Establishes Digital Interactive Entertainment Lab
Beijing - Chinese game developer Shanda Interactive Entertainment announced on Thursday that the company and its Interjoy Technology affiliate have partnered with the Chinese Academy of Sciences' Institute of Automation, to establish a Digital Interactive Entertainment Lab. The Lab will develop games for Shanda's platform, in addition to working on video-based interactive engine technology, in-game artificial intelligence, and the integration motion detection and tracking. The Lab will also train masters' and doctorate students as well as employees from Shanda's research and development department.
