Nokia to Launch Mobile TV Service in Vietnam

Espoo, Finland - Nokia announced on Friday a partnership with the Vietnam Multimedia Corporation (VTC) to launch DVB-H commercial mobile TV services in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City by the end of the year. The deal marks the first commercial launch of Nokia's mobile TV service in the Asia Pacific region. The service, which Nokia aims to expand nationwide in Vietnam over a two-year period, will offer content from VTC, Vietnam's leading national broadcaster.
