Blinkx.tv to Index Archives of European Commission Audiovisual Service
San Francisco - Blinkx, a searchable index of Web video, announced on Monday that it has signed an agreement with the European Commission Audiovisual Service, to archive the organization's hundreds of hours of European news dating back to the 1940s. San Francisco-based Blinkx's index now includes more than 5 million hours of searchable audio, video, viral and TV content.
