NBC, MediaZone Debut Co-Branded Broadband Sports Video Channels

New York - NBC announced on Wednesday that it has partnered with online sports broadcaster MediaZone to launch a co-branded broadband site that will offer live sports programming. The companies previously collaborated on Wimbledon LIVE, a service that streamed more than 325 live matches during the tournament. The co-branded NBC and MediaZone site will offer live and on-demand access to both NBC and MediaZone programming, to include tennis, rugby, basketball, fishing and extreme sports. The Xtreme Sports Channel will be offered for $99.99 per year/$9.99 per month; other channels will include rugby ($129.99 per year); fishing ($39.99 per year); and motocross ($29.99 per year).
