Marvel Entertainment, a global character-based entertainment and licensing company, today announced that David Maisel, and John Turitzin, have been appointed to the newly created position of Executive Vice President, Office of the Chief Executive. In their new roles, Turitzin and Maisel will join Isaac Perlmutter, Marvel’s Chief Executive Officer, to comprise the newly formed Office of the Chief Executive. Perlmutter has served as CEO of Marvel since January 2005. The three officers will oversee all of Marvel’s divisions and operations.

The American Film Institute (AFI) has named journalist, author and interactive TV industry veteran, Suzanne Stefanac, Director of its Digital Content Lab, formerly know as the AFI Enhanced TV Workshop. Stefanac replaces Marcia Zellers, who is leaving for a new post at A&E Television Networks.
