Director of Consumer & Affiliate Marketing – Exent Technologies – San Mateo, CA

Exent offers a Games-on-Demand private label or licensed technology service to many leading portals including Comcast, Verizon, Turner Broadcasting's GameTap, among others. The successful candidate will manage the merchandising and visual presentation of our growing list of partner sites, optimize online selling opportunities, execute online promotions with partners, forecast and analyze partner site performance. The individual will work closely with other members of the team to ensure the optimum customer shopping experience.

Responsibilities:

- Develop online merchandising strategy and calendar, product management, IT and other members of team

- Manage product assortments on websites ensuring that all games are accurately depicted and positioned based on trends and product performance.

- Analyze and report results of merchandising efforts and use findings to support improvements to game merchandising strategy and asset development.

- Coordinate all product updates to the website including frequent new product entries

- Manage all game categorization and cross-sell placements.

- Develop strong personal relationship with partners as a trusted resource for promoting online games.

- Lead team of graphic designer and web developer.

Merchandising:

- Develop deep understanding of partner site demographics and end-user activity to define criteria for game promotion and merchandising.

- Work closely with creative/production team to develop image, content, features, promos and landing pages within website to drive product sales.

Online Promotions:

- Manage site promotion rotation on partner sites, category pages and sub categories.

- Analyze and report results of product promotion and featured games:
utilize insights into ongoing game center promotion planning.

- Develop and manage email marketing campaigns.

- Manage partner-specific promotions as they affect product pricing structure and product detail page promotion messaging.

Qualifications:

- BA/BS degree in Business, Marketing, Merchandising or related field.

- 4-5 years product merchandising experience in E-Commerce, bricks and mortar retail or consumer catalog environment.

- Strong working knowledge of E-Commerce/E-Retailing fundamentals.

- Proven analytic and business plan skills, including interpreting site analytics.

- Ability to take charge in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.

- HTML and XML knowledge a plus.

- Proven ability to prioritize work across multiple partners.

- Experience and passion for games, whether casual or hardcore, a major plus.

- Experience working with Partners and presenting findings to drive desired results.
