New York - Bango, a provider of mobile music distribution technology, said on Thursday that independent digital music publisher INgrooves will use its service to allow artists to sell mobile music downloads. San Francisco-based INgrooves holds the mobile rights for 500 labels in the hip-hop, R&B, electronic and rock genres, and builds WAP sites for its artists and labels to sell ringtones and wallpapers. New York-based Bango's browse and buy technology will let artists like Thievery Corporation and The Crystal Method sell digital content directly to mobile phone users across all networks through their own mobile storefronts.
