Mobile Content Distribution Developer mVisible Raises $3 Million

Deerfield Beach, Fla. - mVisible Technologies, a developer of mobile content distribution technology, announced on Thursday that it has raised $3 million in its first round of venture capital financing, led by New World Angels.

Florida-based mVisible's technology allows independent musicians to create, share and sell ringtones and wallpapers directly from their own websites or MySpace pages.

More than 6,000 artists have created ringtones using the service since it launched earlier this year. The company will use the funds to scale its Myxer platform and MyxerTones website to support a greater number of independent musicians and their fans.
