Mobile Podcast Distributor Spodradio Raises $10 Million

Stuttgart, Germany - Spodradio, which operates a worldwide radio and podcast hub for mobile phones, announced that it has raised $10 million in its second round of venture capital financing, led Benchmark Capital Europe and previous investor Baytech Capital.

Germany-based Spodradio provides mobile operators with an application that delivers a network of radio broadcasts and podcasts, synchronized with relevant visual content, to mobile phones. The company will use the funds to accelerate expansion into international markets, and to develop new services.
