XM Satellite Radio has named Vernon Irvin as Chief Marketing Officer, the company announced today. Irvin will oversee XM's strategic marketing efforts with responsibility for a number of operating groups, including media and brand marketing; retail, direct and partnership marketing; and, marketing operations, which includes service offerings, pricing, retention and market research. Irvin joins XM from VeriSign, where he has served since 2003 as EVP and General Manager for the company's communications services group. Irvin will report to Nate Davis, President and COO for the company, effective November 14. www.xmradio.com Jupitermedia today announced that Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Christopher J. Baudouin has submitted his resignation to the company. Baudouin has been CFO of the company since its inception in 1998. He will remain with the firm through December 31, 2006. Christopher S. Previously Senn was with Disney, where she spent over six years in mobile product development and distribution. Effective immediately, Stirling is responsible for managing day-to-day operations, including overseeing development of a digital cinema projector for theatrical exhibition. Prior Stirling was executive director of Boeing Digital Cinema, an enterprise started in 2000, where he deployed 31 operational theater screens across the United States and in London.
