Thomson's Technicolor to Convert Mann Theatres to Digital
Burbank, Calif. - French electronics firm Thomson announced on Monday that its Burbank, Calif.-based Technicolor Digital Cinema unit has installed digital projection systems in several Mann Theatres locations in Los Angeles, as part of its North America beta test of digital cinema equipment. The test includes projectors at Grauman's Chinese Theatre and Mann Chinese 6 in Hollywood, as well as the Village, Bruin, Criterion 6 and Marketplace 4 theaters.
