Kodime Introduces Mobile Music Sales Platform for Indie Labels

Authored by Mark Hefflinger on October 25, 2006 - 1:05pm.
Kingston-upon-Thames, England - Mobile software developer Kodime on Wednesday introduced STARtxt Label, a service that lets independent record labels create, market and sell their own mobile music content and digital downloads directly to fans. The service lets labels sell mobile content via both Web and WAP sites, as well as through text message shortcodes included on print advertising, CD inserts and flyers. U.K.-based Kodime said its STARtxt platform is already being used to distribute mobile music content from customers like EMI Publishing and the London Symphony Orchestra.
