Limelight Networks, a leading content delivery network for digital media, today announced that Jeffrey W. Lunsford has been named Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Directors. Lunsford will join Limelight on November 20th, succeeding founding CEO Bill Rinehart. Rinehart will remain with the company as co-founder and continue to work with Limelight's customers and partners. Lunsford joins Limelight from digital marketing and analytics firm WebSideStory, where is was CEO and Chairman.

Britain's EMI Group, the world's third-largest music company, said on Monday that Martin Bandier, Chairman and Co-Chief Executive of EMI Publishing, will leave on April 1, 2007, a year earlier than previously announced. Bandier said that he was ready for his next challenge, without providing any further explanation on his departure.

Amp'd Mobile, a mobile entertainment provider, today announced several additions to its executive team. Among the key positions announced are: President, Chief Operating Officer, and Executive Vice President, Finance and Corporate Development.

Bill Stone, currently serving as COO, was promoted to President, Amp'd Mobile. In his new role, Stone will continue to oversee the daily operations of the Amp'd US business. Additionally, Stone will manage the strategic direction of the company and lead the launch of Amp'd Mobile internationally.

Taking over the role of COO will be Sue Swenson. Swenson will lead the daily operations of Amp'd US in the areas of Technology Operations, Customer Care, Human Resources, and Facilities. Prior to joining Amp'd Mobile, Swenson served as COO of T-Mobile, President & COO of Leap Wireless International, CEO of Cellular One, and President & COO of PacTel Cellular.

Other new hires include the additions of Russ Eisenman, Vice President of Marketing, and Todd Meyer, Vice President of Human Resources.

Reporting to Amp'd Chief Marketing Officer Doug Dobie, Eisenman will lead the company's retail and online initiatives. Previously, Eisenman served as Chief Marketing Officer for Tower Records.

Before joining Amp'd Mobile, Meyer was Vice President of Global Human Resources at Jamdat Mobile. He has also held senior HR positions at Microsoft, Yahoo, and GeoCities.

THQ Inc., a developer and publisher of interactive entertainment software, announced today that Scott Guthrie has been named Senior Vice President, North American Sales and Distribution. In this role, Guthrie will manage the company's North American sales, retail marketing, sales planning and operations teams. He had been serving as a sales and operations management consultant to THQ since January of this year. Previously, Guthrie held multiple roles at Buena Vista Home Entertainment spanning a decade, most recently as the senior vice president of sales and distribution. He will report to CEO, Brian Farrell.

Ruckus Network, a provider of college multimedia services, today announced that Allen Baum has joined the company’s management team as Chief Revenue Officer, making him responsibible for all of Ruckus’ advertising sales and revenue generation programs. Baum joins Ruckus after several years with The Health Central Network, formerly Choice Media. He will be based at the company’s New York office.
