San Francisco - Snocap, the digital music licensing, copyright management and distribution service launched by Napster founder Shawn Fanning, announced on Tuesday new licensing deals with a number of independent music companies.
The Orchard, CD Baby, Baby New Year, Big Fish Media, Panartist, Redeye Distribution and Virtual Label will upload and register their tracks into Snocap's digital registry, where they may then be distributed to Snocap customers including MySpace. San Francisco-based Snocap added that it recently also signed similar agreements with Acony Records, Epitaph Records, Flat Town Music, Koch Records, Memphis Industries and other labels.
