Tel Aviv, Israel - eSnips, an online social network and content-sharing site, announced on Tuesday that it has raised $2 million in its first round of venture capital financing, led by Greylock Partners and Gemini Israel Funds.

Tel Aviv-based eSnips allows users to share every file type, not limiting itself to just photos, videos, audio, PDFs or Web bookmarks. The eSnips network currently claims nearly one million users. The company will use the funds to accelerate product development and market expansion.
