Yesterday Intel launched another personal media campaign, the Intel Centrino Duo Blogger Challenge, with the help of Ogilvy PR, and DMW contributor Rohit Bhargava. The promotion involves a collaboration between six diverse voices from the blogosphere who were brought together to share their views on "blogs, blogging and the world":
Here is the list of participating bloggers and their categories:
- The City Blogger - Jen Chung from The Gothamist
- The Gadget Blogger – Mia Kim from Popgadget
- The Video Blogger – Bre Pettis from Make Magazine
- The Mommy Blogger - Mindy Roberts from The Mommy Blogger
- The Tech Blogger - Paul Stamatiou from Paul Stamatiou
- The Food Blogger - Pim Techamuanvivit from Chezpim
The campaign will unfold over the next five weeks to explore the art of blogging and what drives bloggers to share their lives and views online, regardless of the categories of their respective blogs. In turn, participants have agreed to use Centrino-based laptops provided by Intel.
At 12:00PM EST on November 15th the identity of a participating "mystery" blogger – who Rohit describes as one "who many have considered to have defined the genre of blogging itself and continues to innovate and remain an inspiration to many other bloggers". If you think you know who it is, you can submit your guess with Intel here and possibly win a prize. In the spirit of the blogosphere the campaign welcomes your comments and feedback.
