Santa Monica, Calif. - Yahoo on Thursday introduced a new lifestyle website called Yahoo Food, which will include content from celebrity chefs, a searchable recipe database and a built-in user community around the topic of food.
Celebrity chefs and publishers who will provide content on the site include Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, Wolfgang Puck, Every Day with Rachael Ray, Food & Wine, Epicurious.com, Allrecipes.com, Cook's Illustrated, EatingWell, Taste of Home and Reader's Digest.
The site will also feature contributions from an initial lineup of 13 food bloggers, including The Continental Chef, Back to the Table and Donatella's Dish. Recipes on the site will be powered by Yahoo Search and Allrecipes.com, and will allow users to rate, review and share recipes online.
