Quincy Smith has been named President of the newly formed division CBS Interactive, it was announced today by Leslie Moonves, President and Chief Executive Officer of CBS Corporation. In this role, Smith will work in tandem with each CBS division to formulate new media strategies and partnerships involving all interactive platforms, including Internet, mobile and video gaming. Reporting to Smith will be the wide variety of interactive media company-wide, including: CBS SportsLine.com, CBSNews.com and CBS.com, as well as the new video site Innertube. Smith comes to CBS from Allen & Company, where he was involved with projects including multiple transactions for Google, Advertising.com's sale to AOL, the del.icio.us sale to Yahoo, Neopets' sale to Viacom, Loudeye's sale to Nokia and CNET's acquisition of Webshots, among other transactions. He will report directly to Moonves.

The company also announced that Larry Kramer has stepped down from his position as President of CBS Digital Media but will remain with the company as an advisor.

Prior, Doherty served as Vice President of North American Sales at Glu Mobile, where she and her team developed and managed relationships with major wireless carriers and handset OEM's.

Ziff Davis announced today the appointment of Neil Glass to Vice President, Finance and Operations for the company's Consumer/Small Business Group (CSB). He was previously Director of Finance for the CSB group. He will continue to report directly to Jason Young, President, Consumer/Small Business Group. Glass began his career at Ziff Davis in 2003 as the Business Manager for Ziff Davis Internet.

Sony Online Entertainment (SOE), a provider of massively multiplayer online games, today announced that Courtney Simmons has been appointed to the position of Director, Corporate Communications and Public Relations. Simmons will report to Torrie Dorrell, Senior Vice President, Global Sales and Marketing, SOE. Prior to accepting this executive role, Simmons spent two years as a consultant to SOE, leading various consumer and product PR initiatives.
