Redmond, Wash. - Microsoft on Tuesday announced a number of deals that will allow it to offer over 1,000 hours of TV shows and movies for download to its Xbox 360 video game console.

The agreements with CBS, MTV Networks, Paramount Pictures, Turner Broadcasting System, Ultimate Fighting Championship and Warner Bros. Standard-definition TV includes episodes of "South Park" and "Chappelle's Show" from Comedy Central; MTV's "The Real World" and other programs from Viacom's Nickelodeon, Nicktoons, VH1 and Spike TV; "Robot Chicken" and "Aqua Teen Hunger Force" from Turner Broadcasting; and condensed races from NASCAR.com.

Movies available from the Xbox Live Marketplace will initially include Paramount's "Nacho Libre" and "Mission: Impossible III," and Warner's "The Matrix" and "Superman Returns."
