Seattle - Ontela, a developer of mobile image delivery technology, announced that it has raised $4.5 million in its first round of venture capital financing. Hunt Ventures led the investment round; Oak Investment Partners and Voyager Capital also participated.

Seattle-based Ontela's technology automatically transfers photos from consumers' camera phones to a PC or online image hosting service. The company will use the funds to move from closed service trials of its PicDeck platform to market deployment in 2007.
