GoFish Corporation, a user-generated video company, today announced the launch of a branded entertainment division and the appointment of three new hires to run it. C.J. Bowden, David Fisch and Lori Macias join GoFish as Vice Presidents of Branded Entertainment. Bowden, Fisch and Macias most recently were co-founders in SlingShot Media, a Los Angeles based start-up. Prior to SlingShot, they spent a combined 15 years at Yahoo.

Dolby Laboratories announced today that See Weng Chan has joined the company as Vice President for its China region. Chan will be responsible for the company’s strategy in the China region including marketing, sales, and business development. He will oversee the company’s facilities in Shanghai and Beijing, and maintain contacts with the government and its agencies. Before joining Dolby, Chan served as Beijing-based Vice President for Axalto Smart Card Technology, a spin-off of SchlumbergerSema Technologies.

IODA, a digital distribution, marketing, and technology solutions firm for the independent music industry, today announced it has appointed Rob Weitzner to Vice President of Business Development. Weitzner will be based in the company’s San Francisco headquarters and will report to IODA founder and CEO Kevin Arnold. Prior, Weitzner served as Head of Membership and Development for the American Association of Independent Music (A2IM).

Weitzner will take over business development responsibilities from Tim Mitchell, who will now exclusively focus on the IODA Digital Marketing division, Promonet, and off-line marketing opportunities as Vice President of Marketing.

Handango, a provider of smartphone content, today announced it has appointed Kelly Mulroney to its newly created position of Vice President of Consumer Experience. Mulroney will focus on the end-to-end experience for all Handango storefronts, including Handango's global direct-to-consumer Web properties, Handango's on-device storefronts and all partner channels. She was most recently Senior Director of User Experience at Hotels.com.

JAJ Company, a Geneva based international private equity group, has named Alan Fletcher as Executive VP, Global Business Development. Fletcher currently serves as VP Television Marketing for Warner Strategic Marketing/Rhino Entertainment Inc. at the Warner Music Group. He will take over his new position in December 2006 and will be based in Los Angeles. Fletcher will be responsible for building the company's entertainment portfolio while formulating the company's strategy to acquire intellectual properties, as well as expanding existing international businesses and representing the company’s entertainment services.

CMP Technology today announced that Jeff Kamikow has joined the Business Technology Group (BTG) as Eastern Regional Sales Director, InformationWeek. Kamikow held sales positions at PC Magazine and Inter@ctive Week and was also national sales director for Field & Stream. He started his career at PC World. He will report to Scott Vaughan, Publisher of InformationWeek.
