Green Monster Games, a developer of massively multiplayer online games (MMOs), today announced its first round of new hires. Steve Danuser has been appointed Director of Community Development/Senior Designer. Danuser will oversee the construction of the company's official website and develop its fan community while reporting directly to GMG's Founder, Curt Schilling.

Ryan Shwayder has been named Community Relations Manager/Designer at GMG and will be working to establish the company's presence through the web and other media alongside Danuser. Shwayder has been developing online communities for years, most recently as the Community Relations Manager for EverQuest II where he also worked with Danuser.

Erik Theisz has signed on as a Senior Producer for GMG. Theisz also contributed to the worldwide launch of EverQuest(R) II. Michael Woods joins GMG as Assistant to Director of Customer Service Development/Designer.

GMG's design team will be lead by the creations of Senior Artists Brian Jones and Brian Labore. Jones has contributed to over twenty-five projects, most notably Age of Empires 3 for Ensemble Studios and Titan Quest for Iron Lore Entertainment. Labore previously worked at Turbine Entertainment and Blue Fang Games as a Lead Animator.

On the business side of GMG, Bill Thomas has been retained as the Director of Investor Relations. J. Robin Bickhart has been hired as Director of Business Operations and Brandon Franks joins GMG as Director of Internet Technology.

Lastly, Keith Moegle was appointed Assistant to the Founder. Moegle is a former Senior Program Developer and original employee of Microsoft. He still consults with Microsoft and other major corporations on software development.

All employees are working out of GMG's Maynard, MA headquarters.

Comcast Corporation, a provider of cable, entertainment and communications products and services, today announced that Mary McManus has joined the company as Senior Director, FCC and Regulatory Policy in Washington, DC. She will serve as one of Comcast's senior lobbyists focused on the FCC. Previously she served in the Office of General Counsel and the Competition Policy Division of the Wireline Competition Bureau of the FCC.

BigBand Networks, a provider of broadband multimedia infrastructure for video, voice and data, announced it has appointed Jeff Lindholm as Senior Vice President of Worldwide Field Operations. Lindholm will oversee all aspects of the BigBand's worldwide sales and customer service efforts in his new role, and report to CEO Amir Bassan-Eskenazi. Lindholm joins BigBand from Juniper Networks, where he served as Vice President of Worldwide Sales, and most recently as Chief Marketing Officer.

Tentoe, a provider of online merchandising solutions, yesterday announced that it has appointed Dennis Marshall as Vice President of Marketing and Product Management. Most recently, Marshall served as the Director of Venture Development for Adobe Systems, investing in early stage internet and software startups.
