Los Angeles - Fox Interactive Media's IGN video game site announced on Wednesday that it has added movies, TV shows and anime to its Direct2Drive digital download store.
The store announced multi-year agreements with 20th Century Fox, Lionsgate, Starz Media and Central Park Media, which will bring movies like "X-Men: The Last Stand," "Saw 2" and "Ghost in the Shell" to Direct2Drive. Programming will sell for approximately $7.99 to $19.99 for feature film releases and $1.99 per TV series episode. Launched in October 2004, Direct2Drive has to this point mainly offered premium PC games and other game-related content for purchase and download.
