Los Angeles - BB Entertainment announced on Monday that it will launch what it says is the first 1080p high-definition video-on-demand and IPTV service in North America this week.
MyTVPal.com will initially offer over 700 free IPTV channels -- both standard and high-definition -- from over 70 countries to broadband users with a connection speed of at least 1.5mbps. In addition, subscription-based video-on-demand channels will be added in coming months. The company also partnered with MatrixStream to release over 100,000 set-top boxes capable of receiving the service over the next year.
