National Amusements Launches CyGamZ Interactive Gaming Venues

Ypsilanti, Mich. - National Amusements, the movie theater chain that owns controlling interest in media conglomerate Viacom, announced on Tuesday the launch of a new franchise of interactive gaming venues.

The CyGamZ venues will offer full service dining, and feature both PC and console-based games with plasma screen TVs. The company said major sponsors include Intel, Alienware and Pepsi.

National Amusements is hosting an open house at its CyGamZ venue in Ypsilanti, Mich. on Wednesday that will include matches between local gamers and members of the Frag Dolls all-female gamer team.

The company added that it hopes to host major video game tournaments at its CyGamZ locations.
