Media Price Comparison Search Engine Biggerboat Raises $2.5 Million

Los Angeles - BiggerBoat, the developer of a comparison shopping data search engine for music and movies, has raised more than $2.5 million in its second round of venture capital financing, SocalTech.com reported.

Investors including Draper Associates, Zone Ventures and First Round Capital. Los Angeles-based BiggerBoat operates a search engine that lets users search for music and movies, and returns price comparisons and other information. The company plans to expand its search engine to include video games and TV.

BiggerBoat CEO Adam Lilling told SocalTech.com the funds will allow the company to go cash flow positive.
