Exciting, fast-growing Los Angeles start-up is expanding its team! Founded by accomplished media and technology executives, this is your chance to join an innovative venture in creating a next-generation, cross-platform media programming service. This is a senior level Vice President, Engineering position that will help shape the company vision and allow you to express your skill, passion, and creativity. Role will encompass ownership and extension of existing 1.0 platform, software design, and some initial hands-on programming, in addition to growing, managing and coordinating the efforts of the engineering team.

To be successful, the right individual must possess: a strong drive for Innovation; a passion for media-product; and a high level of detail orientation. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a history of senior-role success in entrepreneurial and/or corporate technology experiences, as well as have a strong appetite for embarking upon a new start-up adventure.

Desired qualifications include:

- 7+ years of object-oriented software development experience
- 3+ years of server-side application design and development in .NET C# and/or Java - Experience managing or mentoring software development process and engineers
- Strong relational database and SQL skills
- Web services development (XML, SOAP)
- Experience with digital rights management
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies
- BS or MS in Computer Science or related field
