HandHeld Entertainment Acquires FunMansion.com for $1.1 Million

Port St. Lucie, Fla. - User-generated video site FunMansion.com has been acquired by HandHeld Entertainment, a San Francisco-based maker of portable media players that also operates an online video store.

Terms of the deal include $500,000 in cash and a $600,000 note convertible into common stock. Florida-based FunMansion was founded about five years ago.

"The FunMansion.com acquisition takes us to potentially 2.5 million unique visitors per month, with a combined total of more than 5.4 million page views per month, all tied to the comedy/extreme marketplace," said Jeff Oscodar, CEO of HandHeld, which is publicly traded on the Nasdaq.
