Executive Director, Entertainment & Media Management Institute - UCLA - Los Angeles, CA

The Executive Director provides leadership for the Entertainment and Media Management Institute (EMMI), within the UCLA Anderson School of Management. EMMI partners with industry, students and researchers to develop ideas and strategies on how entertainment and media can thrive in the face of transforming entertainment and media business models through (1) research, (2) education of future leaders, and (3) community/industry programs.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Extensive knowledge of entertainment companies and related industries.
• Proven track record of managing high-level relationships within the entertainment/media industries.
• Extensive project management experience.
• Skilled at organizing and managing meetings and large events.
• Familiarity with MBA programs or other graduate school environments.
• Ability to effectively manage many projects.
• Excellent communication skills, including demonstrated skill in making oral presentations to sophisticated audiences.
• Excellent coordination and organizational skills to develop and maintain close working relationships with internal and external parties.
• Proven experience developing and managing budgets.
• Demonstrated fund-raising experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in entertainment, media, or management preferred.
• MBA or PhD in management-related area preferred.

Working hours may include travel and occasional evenings and weekends. Continued employment contingent upon completion of satisfactory background investigation.
