Clear Channel, Best Buy to Auction Video Game Consoles for Charity
San Antonio, Texas - Clear Channel, the nation's largest radio station owner, announced on Tuesday that it partnered with Best Buy to launch a series of online auctions for PlayStation 3 and Nintendo Wii game consoles, with all proceeds to be donated to Toys for Teens.
Best Buy will donate over 800 consoles, which more than 1,100 Clear Channel Radio stations will auction off each hour for 12 hours a day. Bidding for the consoles will be started at $599.99 for a PlayStation 3 and $249.99 for a Nintendo Wii.
