Washington - The U.S. Copyright Office and Patent and Trademark Office on Tuesday announced plans to hold a public roundtable discussion on the proposed World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) broadcasting treaty.
The WIPO treaty will govern the protection of copyrights with regard to broadcasting organizations. The hearing will be held on Jan. 3, 2007 in Alexandria, Virginia, and attendance is limited to the first 40 members of the public to respond.
