Customflix Lets Indie Filmmakers Sell Content on Amazon Unbox
Santa Cruz, Calif. - CustomFlix, a unit of Amazon.com that provides on-demand DVD authoring services for independent content owners, announced on Tuesday that will offer a video download option on Amazon Unbox, the company's video download service. The service will let the indie filmmakers and other content owners who use CustomFlix to distribute their DVDs on demand to add an option that also allows consumers to download the movie to their PCs. CustomFlix content is slated to launch on Unbox early next year.
