Los Angeles - Gemstar-TV Guide International, a provider of electronic program guides for digital TV services, on Tuesday announced new patent license agreements with U.K.-based British Sky Broadcasting (Sky), and Philips Electronics. Under the multi-year deal with Sky, the company will deploy Gemstar's interactive program guides on its platforms in the U.K. and Ireland.
