Tokyo - Representatives from Google's YouTube video-sharing service will travel to Japan to meet with Japanese copyright owners and address their concerns over copyright infringement on the site.

The Tokyo-based Japan Society for Rights of Authors, Composers and Publishers (JASRAC) previously asked YouTube to remove some 30,000 of its members' copyrighted videos from the site, and further that YouTube install a filter so that users can't upload their content. JASRAC also asked YouTube to place a notice in Japanese on its site, telling users it is illegal to upload copyrighted videos.

Reuters reported that a specific date for the meeting between YouTube and JASRAC has not yet been decided.
