Orb Networks, a provider of software and services designed to give users remote access to digital media stored on their PCs, has named Joe Costello, the company's co-founder and chairman, as its new CEO. Costello also currently serves as the chairman of think3, and was previously the president and CEO of Cadence Design Systems for more than a decade.

PBS, the media entity serving 354 public noncommercial television stations, has named Jason Seiken as its senior vice president of interactive. Seiken was the founding executive editor of washingtonpost.com, and later ran AOL's channel programming group. In
his new role, he will oversee PBS's new media content and services.

Intent MediaWorks, an Atlanta-based provider of technology for the distribution of licensed digital media content and advertising via the Internet, today announced the appointment of Craig Yano as vice president of sales and business development. Most recently, he served as director of sales and marketing at Intercept Technology.
