World Digital Media Group Chosen as First Music Provider for Lycos Cinema

Dallas - World Digital Media Group (WDMG), a multi-platform music and digital content company, today announced that they have been chosen by Lycos as the first music content provider for the web portal’s newly launched proprietary entertainment platform Lycos Cinema, which allows users to chat online in real-time while watching videos.

The two companies have entered into a revenue-sharing agreement encompassing both DVD sales and advertising revenue related to Lycos Cinema and WDMG’s City Sessions programming.

Lycos Cinema will spotlight various City Sessions artists, giving viewers the ability to watch the artists’ performances while chatting with other users. At launch, City Sessions on Lycos Cinema will spotlight independent music artists including Alice Peacock, Tyrone Wells, Keaton Simons, Emiko, SwampdaWamp and others. The companies expect to launch a more robust lineup of music entertainment together in 2007.
