Berkleemusic Claims No. 1 Online Music College Spot

Boston - Boston-based Berklee College of Music's online extension school has taught over 11,000 students during the last four years, with another 6,000 signed up during the current year, making it the world's largest online music college, the school announced in a press release on Friday.

"In four short years, we have built one of the largest music schools on the planet, and our mission is aligned with the general trend in the music industry of everything going online," said David Kusek, a vice president at Berklee.

Berkleemusic’s online curriculum has over 85 accredited online courses and certificate programs taught by 120 of the college's faculty in music production, guitar, music theory and harmony, music business and songwriting.
