We are looking for flexible, hardworking, experienced people passionate about music, media and technology, to design, develop, analyze, measure, position, package, and promote one of Blueprint's core products and business offerings around the world. Do you understand what it takes to get content into a consumer’s head? The experienced and dynamic Product Manager will be responsible for one of our core service offerings.
You will identify customer needs and understand competitive offerings, own a product/service roadmap, and work with development resources to deliver on the vision. You will also directly support sales and marketing activities. Successful candidate should have a proven track record in product management, as well as a solid understanding of digital content, rights and business models. Responsibilities: You will be responsible for one of Blueprint’s core offerings across a number of customer segments. This will involve: - Identifying customer needs and understanding competitive offerings. - Owning the ongoing evolution and roadmap for a given proposition and/or service line. - Determining how the proposition will be delivered, either with the internal development resources or through partnering; identifying and managing relevant partners when applicable. - Supporting sales and developing suitable collateral that optimally positions the strengths of our services. - Contributing to the overall marketing plan to ensure Blueprint achieves both its short and long term objectives. Requirements: - BA/BSc degree - Ideal candidate will have four plus years experience in product marketing of software services and/or experience in the rights management area of the music and/or general media sector. - Experience in the online and/or mobile industries would be a bonus. - Understanding of digital rights and reporting, specifically as they relate to music and movies would be an advantage. - Strong analytical skills for understanding products, customers and market dynamics. - Strong written, presentation, financial modeling and oral communication skills. - Ability to communicate customer/product needs to highly technical teams. - Attention to detail whilst maintaining perspective on the big picture. - Strong aptitude for determining the optimal way to position products in the market. - Understanding of Blueprint’s strategic and competitive position. - Flexible and enthusiastic attitude to working in a small, dynamic start-up To Apply: Email your cover letter and resume to careers@blueprint.net |
