Las Vegas - Comcast, the nation's largest cable TV provider, and TiVo on Monday introduced their new joint TiVo service for Comcast digital video recorders at the Consumer Electronics Show.

The service will allow Comcast subscribers to add TiVo's digital video recorder service using their existing cable set-top boxes.

TiVo developed the software, which will be offered to Comcast subscribers for a "modest monthly fee." Comcast claims 24.1 million cable TV subscribers nationwide.
