Intent Media Works to Distribute Nettwerk Music Group Artists

Atlanta - Intent Media Works, a provider of media distribution through the Internet and peer-to-peer networks, said on Tuesday that it has signed an agreement with Canadian record label Nettwerk Music Group, home to artists including Barenaked Ladies and Sarah McLachlan. Under the deal, Intent will distribute Nettwerk artists' songs and music videos via a variety of websites, file-sharing networks and social network sites. Intent's technology can track each file across the Internet, so the label and artist know how widely each file is spreading.
