London - Major record label Universal Music Group on Wednesday launched ClassicsandJazz.co.uk, which it says is the largest online retail site for classical and jazz music on the Internet, Reuters reported.

The site features over 100,000 classical and jazz tracks and 8,000 CDs. Universal, which is selling the tracks in Windows Media Audio (WMA) format, said it hopes to add another 1,500 tracks each month.

"We expect sales to begin with to be relatively modest, but by the third or fourth quarter of the year to be making a positive contribution to the business," Mark Wilkinson, a marketing director for Universal's classics and jazz division, told Reuters.

Awesome

That move of Universal Records is really awesome for jazz music lovers like me. Now it is easier to find those songs I've been looking for a long time. Hope I can find it there...
