Digital Image Fulfillment Firm EZ Prints Raises $8 Million

Atlanta - EZ Prints, an Atlanta-based provider of digital image fulfillment technology for retailers, portals, ISPs, digital content owners and professional photo services, has raised $8 million in venture capital from General Catalyst Partners.

About 500 online and offline retailers use EZ Prints' technology platform to offer services that allow consumers and businesses to personalize digital content.

The company said that the new investment funds will be used to increase sales, marketing and product development activities, and further enhance and expand EZ Prints' global image fulfillment network, which includes Smugmug, Target and Yahoo.
