Tokyo - Sony Computer Entertainment announced that the company has now shipped one million PlayStation 3 video game consoles in Japan, bringing total worldwide shipments to date to two million units. The company added that five million PlayStation 3 game units had shipped worldwide by the end of December. Sony is expected to launch the PlayStation 3 in Europe in late March.
