Shanghai, China -
GameGlance, a provider of in-game advertising services in Asia, announced on Friday that it has received a $2 million investment from a China-based technology consortium.

Launched in July 2005, Shanghai-based GameGlance primarily serves advertisers looking to bring their brands to the Asian markets, and also consults with publishers looking to ensure their titles are compatible and receptive to in-game placements.

The company will use the investment to market its services within Southeast Asia, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, South Korea and China, as well as for research and to strengthen its infrastructure.

*The original version of this story incorrectly referred to the company as GameChance, which is an Asian games community site. We apologize for the error. -Ed.
