Mobile Search Provider Mobile Content Networks Raises $10 Million

Mountain View, Calif. - Mobile Content Networks, a developer of mobile search technology, announced that it has raised $10 million in its second round of venture capital financing, led by Meritage Funds.

Also participating were Dentsu.com, Netage Capital Partners, UniqueLab, Suneight and Intellectual Capital Ventures.

Founded in late 2004, Mountain View, Calif.-based Mobile Content Networks now provides mobile search for Finnish carrier DNA, and has also launched mobile shopping and mobile FM radio search services in Japan. The company said it is working with over twenty partners in ten countries.

Mobile Content Networks will use the funds to further expand the development and marketing of MobileSearch.net, its real-time search management platform.
