Burbank, Calif. - CenterStaging, the parent company of Rehearsals.com, a site that streams video of artists preparing for tours and recording sessions, announced on Tuesday that it has raised $3 million through a private placement of its shares with two undisclosed investors.

Burbank, Calif.-based CenterStaging also announced that it has partnered with music industry publication Billboard, which will now offer in-studio performances and interviews from Rehearsals.com on its Billboard websites. Billboard will collaborate with CenterStaging on choosing artists for the features.

Artists who have appeared on Rehearsals.com include the cast of Disney's "High School Musical," Tom Petty, James Taylor and Norah Jones.

"This infusion of capital will allow the Company to continue to aggressively implement its business plan, including the expansion and multi-platform distribution of our content library," said CenterStaging chief financial officer Howard Livingston.
