Tokyo - Sony announced on Wednesday that it has formed a joint venture with fellow Japanese game publisher Namco Bandai that will develop titles for consoles, the PC and mobile platforms, Bloomberg News reported.
Namco Bandai will own 51% of the new company, Cellius, which is set to begin operations on March 6.
Sony Computer Entertainment spokesman Satoshi Fukuoka told Bloomberg that Cellius will use Sony's Cell processor -- developed for the PlayStation 3 -- in the creation of its game titles.
