Washington - The Digital Watermarking Alliance (DWA), a trade group of companies promoting their technologies that identify and track digital media files, announced on Tuesday that it will co-host a luncheon with the House Entertainment Industries Caucus in Washington on Feb. 5.The DWA said attendees "will learn how movie, music and television content can be identified and managed across any device from anywhere at anytime," as well as "receive policy recommendations on the 'Orphan Works' issue." The U.S. House Entertainment Industries Caucus in is chaired by Rep. Diane Watson (D-Calif.). Members of the DWA include Cinea, Digimarc, Philips, Thomson, Verance and Widevine.
