Campbell, Calif. - Anchor Bay Technologies, a developer of digital semiconductor and system-level technologies used in digital TVs and high-definition video products, said that it has raised $10 million in a new round of funding, led by new investor Atlantic Quantum.Previous investors Storm Ventures and Venrock Associates also participated. "This new financing allows us to meet our working capital needs as we expand our business," said Craig Soderquist, the CEO at Anchor Bay. Campbell, Calif.-based Anchor Bay Technologies was started by the former founding team of home theater technology firm DVDO Inc. In 2003, Anchor Bay reacquired the DVDO brand and product line from Silicon Image, and more recently has scored design wins from companies such as Denon and Marantz.
